Driven by a desire to gain international exposure alongside our local agency work, I proactively began sourcing projects on Upwork. This platform connected me with a diverse clientele from around the globe, primarily based in Australia and the United States. While Google Ads management remained a core offering, these international collaborations increasingly saw me delve deeper into the intricacies of web analytics, particularly with Google Analytics setup and customization.
This period was defined by an intense learning curve and a “hustle” mentality. I embraced the opportunity to expand beyond my primary specializations, actively seeking and taking on projects in SEO, content strategy, and A/B testing. By rarely turning down a chance to learn something new, I rapidly accumulated a wealth of practical experience across a wide spectrum of digital marketing disciplines. This hands-on approach with varied challenges accelerated my understanding significantly.
