A new chapter began as I returned to Croatia to start a family, leading me back to the world of freelancing. It’s a source of pride that I continue to collaborate with several of my initial long-term clients from my early Upwork days, a testament to the enduring partnerships we’ve built. During this period, an increasingly strong pull towards complex technical problem-solving steered me towards a significant evolution in my career path.

This deep-seated interest in technical challenges culminated in a dedicated move into engineering. While I’ve transitioned from active ad account management, I still provide a strategic advisory role for select long-term clients and continue to manage web analytics setups where my expertise is valued. However, the vast majority of my focus is now on architecting and building robust integrations between various marketing ad platforms, CRM systems, and data platforms, primarily utilizing scalable cloud infrastructure.

My typical development stack for these solutions includes NodeJS, the Serverless Framework, and Terraform, enabling me to create efficient and resilient systems. My extensive background in digital marketing isn’t just past experience; it’s a distinct advantage. It provides an intrinsic understanding of marketers’ needs, allowing me to design and build tools and integrations that are not only technically sound but also genuinely empower their daily operations and strategic goals.
